Kim Pemberton is a veteran journalist, with more than 30 years experience in the newspaper business, now enjoying a second career as a freelance travel writer.


Kim was an award-winning reporter with the Vancouver Sun for 30 years before “retiring” in 2017 in order to pursue her passion for travel.


Since then she has written travel stories for the Vancouver Sun, The Toronto Sun, Winnipeg Free Press and the Pique NewsMagazine. Her travel stories have also appeared in the
Edmonton Sun, National Post, Canadian Traveller magazine and Travel Life.
